The Surgery Kincumber is a cottage-style general practice in the heart of Kincumber, on the NSW Central Coast. The practice was established in 1995 by Dr Chris Tarrant, and has been caring for the local community ever since.
We provide care across all aspects of general practice, from routine consultations, chronic disease management and preventive health, to same-day appointments for urgent concerns.
In recent years, The Surgery Kincumber has undergone a significant modernisation. Our building has been completely renovated, and we have added a state-of-the-art procedure room to support a wider range of in-house services, including:
Alongside these services, we offer value-added conveniences such as online prescriptions and referrals, so you do not always have to come in to get what you need.
Our practice is home to a team of experienced GPs, along with GP trainee registrars. You can find profiles of our doctors under the Team menu above.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which The Surgery Kincumber stands, the Darkinjung people, and pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging. We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' continuing connection to land, sea and community, and are committed to providing culturally safe and welcoming healthcare for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients.
The Surgery Kincumber is committed to providing safe, respectful and inclusive healthcare for all our patients, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or intersex status. We welcome LGBTIQ+ and gender diverse individuals and their families, and are committed to ensuring every person who walks through our door is treated with dignity, respect and without judgement.
